Originally from Strongfield, Saskatchewan, our Founder Wade graduated from the UofS with a Bachelors of Science degree and a specialty in Plant Science.
After graduation, Wade worked as an Agronomist throughout the prairies, exposing himself to opportunities to attempt new and innovative vegetation management strategies. This lead him to start his own environmental services company.
Wade’s role at Strongfield Environmental focuses on client and stakeholder relationships, program development, and employee mentorship.
Zach Brooks-Poloway, B.Sc
Operations Manager
Zach grew up on a farm in Clive, Alberta, through his work on the family farm he acquired an interest in both agriculture and environmental reclamation. This led him to pursue his Bachelor of Science degree in Land Reclamation.
Upon completion of his degree, he continued to develop his both his mapping and environmental reclamation skills through work with AFSC investigating crop damage and ground disturbance due to oil and gas activities.
Since joining Stronfield Environmental in 2021, Zach has quickly become a key leader in several areas of the business, including landowner/client relations as well as training and mentoring staff.

Cory Southam
Supervisor
Born and raised on a farm near Hawarden, Saskatchewan, Cory graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Geology in 2014.
Upon graduation, Cory leveraged his post-secondary education to secure his first environmental solutions position as a field worker for Wade. He quickly advanced to a supervisory role and has been instrumental in incorporating drones into Strongfield’s operations.
Cory remains focused on ensuring project execution and implementing new technologies as our Operations Manager.
Tony Blake
Developer
Tony’s consuming interest in land management and botany has been strong for most of his life.
After a full career as a CPR conductor, Tony returned to college to study biology, ecology, and physical geography. His education, combined with years of volunteer and professional experience in vegetation inventory, monitoring and management, has equipped Tony with unmatched familiarity with Alberta’s diverse habitats, with particular expertise in invasive species.
Tony has been with Strongfield for five years and is currently focused on his role in providing both prevention and control with vegetation management.

JESSICA VON

Supervisor
Jessica has lived most of her life in Alberta and brings extensive experience in the areas of banking, retail, and accounting.
Jessica’s role at Strongfield revolves around managing all financial aspects of the business including strategic bookkeeping and financial advisory services.
Since joining Strongfield in 2021, she has been instrumental in streamlining administrative duties and managing the third-party resources required for everything business and brand related.
Working Group
Strongfield Environmental Solutions is also spearheading a nationwide working group to gather the required information to responsibly bring pesticide application via RPAAS technology to Canada.
